Parts Manager - Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual, with parts experience in the agricultural industry and an excellent understanding of agricultural machinery and terminology. Someone who prides themselves on service and will go that extra to help our customers. As a Parts Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our dealership, sourcing items for our workshop team and our customers.

Our main franchises consist of McCormick Tractors, Pottinger, NC Engineering, Teagle, Storth, Corvus, BVL farm Technology, we also deal with after-market manufacturers such as Granit, Sparex, Kramp, Bepco and Vapormatic.

The hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Saturday mornings, 8am – 12:30pm are also required on a rota basis.

The Ideal Candidate

·    A team player who can work well under pressure and maintain calmness during busy periods.

·    Responsible for ordering, receiving, inventory management, selling and returns.

·    A great communicator with exceptional customer service skills.

·    Excellent IT skills with a good understanding of Excel, Word and Catalyst/IBCOS. 

·    Strong attention to detail and able to use your own initiative.

·    A mechanically minded person.

·    Generous knowledge of agricultural machinery or agricultural parts.

·    Full driving license.

As a Parts Advisor, you will play a pivotal role within our dealership, sourcing items for our workshop team and our customers.
